I’m on the fence here. Do I bring back my NetFlix subscription with DVD rental or not. I cannot begin to tell you when I last stepped foot in a movie theater. I feel like I have missed out on a lot of great flix that have recently hit the big screen. And the thought of great shows that I have missed out on keep creeping back into mind when I find that I have a bit of downtime.
So I’ve been toying around with the idea of starting my subscription up again. I guess the biggest downside for me is how much money I spent on the subscription last time and didn’t use it like I had wanted. I’ve had the streaming option in the past but it doesn’t always have the most recent releases. Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas as to what move I should make here?

Sounds like we are having some serious 1st world problems there Rusty!!
If you’re actually going to watch the movies, Netflix really is the best deal IMHO, plus they have a great selection of movies on DVD. For popular movies and new releases you have options. Redbox, Amazon Instant & iTunes are great, but they’re more expensive than Netflix in the long run.
One other thing. If you want to watch older movies, Netflix may be your only choice. We’ve picked 3 or 4 movies to watch over the past few months, and the only place they’re available for rent is Netflix. These are movies from the 90’s so by “older” I don’t mean ancient. Our only other choice was to buy the movies.
I say do it, but only if you rent Gilmore girls!
